Jessica graduated with her MSW from Portland State University in 2016 and has been providing individual and group therapy in a variety of clinical settings ever since. Jessica became interested in mental health and counseling early on in her academic and professional life and is passionate about providing trauma-informed, anti-oppressive support to those who may have a difficult time accessing therapy in traditional ways.
Services
Jessica offers individual and group therapy to clients in the state of Oregon using telehealth, allowing her clients more options and comfort in terms of scheduling. Jessica specializes in a variety of areas including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, complex PTSD, grief and loss, mood disorders, and personality disorders. Sessions are offered in 30 minute, 45 minute, and one hour blocks depending on client preference.
Approach
Jessica is a firm believer that everyone should have access to mental health support, and that mental health support looks different for everyone. Jessica’s practice puts an emphasis on harm reduction, individual strength, and on the unique needs that arise from our unique lived experiences. Jessica favors a combination of CBT, DBT, and ACT but tailors her treatment plans to meet the needs of the individuals that she is working with; Jessica views the therapeutic process as one of collaboration between client and clinician.
